Night Train by The-Stealth-Ninja Night Train by The-Stealth-Ninja
Well, I havn't posted in a while, so I thought I might put up something from the work that I finally have to post.

Union Pacific was doing some major trackwork near my house for about the past week and a half, so I thought I might go and shoot some of the stuff they had out. This is a ballast train thaey had sitting out on my way home from class on Tuesday.

The Loco in the foreground is Union Pacific 4737, an EMD SD70M.

WOW. I've seen some similar stuff to this, since I live off a UP line, but nothing like this. All the MOW trains come through during the day (the ones that ever do come through that is).

Yeah, I just decided to come home from work along a different route, and happened by this train parked under some floodlights. Could a railfan ask for anything more?

Maybe a couple of WP/MP/DRGW/SP units along with that floodlight scenario? I dunno, I'm just....suggesting things? heh

That really would be quite the sight. Actually, there was an old SP unit out during all the work. I just havn't gotten to posting what I took of it yet.
